Default Side Mount License Plate For Fat Bob

anyone found any good choices out there? I am finding them hard to come by for some reason. I found a universal one on JP Cycles but it mounts under the axle nut and I'd rather have something that attaches to the swingarm or otherwise.

Suggestions?

thanks

Kuryakyn's side brackets made for the '05 Dynas swingarm can mount to an '06-'09 swingarm.

I see. I will do some more looking. All I have found so far is clamps to mount on round bars. Got a link?

thanks!

It is so easy to make your own, and feels great when you talk about it.

Okay, I saw one on Ebay that actually shows the rectangular mounting bracket. I am just wondering why Kuryakyn's website would show it round?

I installed mine on the shock bolt but could put it on the belt guard or axle. Ordered the side plate off ebay for $22.00 and some Black LED tag bolts $16.00 (links below).

I'd love to know how you got that Road6Customs side plate to work, because I ordered one from them and it wouldn't fit my 25mm axle. Also, your LED and eBay links do n't work...they're missing parts of the URL.

Have the same stuff just haven't had time to install. How did you run the wires for the tag boltz lights so they will not be seen, that's the only problem I have.

See if these links work. For the license plate bracket link click on "License Plate Brackets" link on the left menu to see selection. I mounted the License plate bracket to the shock bolt. Then I shrink wrapped all 3 wires together into one and ran them behind the swing arm and up underneath the seat to connect them to juice. I used a couple cable ties to secure. One to the bottom of shock and the other behind the swing arm up towards front before it goes up under seat. Probably could have drilled a hole though the bracket instead of running wires underneath to make it cleaner which I might redo. Took a couple pics below. Hope this helps.
