Garmin Quest 2 vs Harley Road Tech Conquest
You gotta love eBay!!!
So far, I have been able to find either a refurbished Garmin Quest for $99 or a new Quest 2 for $129.
Comparing to Harley Road Tech, the comparable items from Harley are the "Road Tech Quest" for $499 and a "Road Tech Conquest" for $699!!!
Of course, these look to be identical to the Garmin's as they are made by Garmin. Well, except for the H-D logo and the darker color scheme...
Just wanted to know, it looks as if the Harley version lets you choose between handlebar mount and fairing mount. On eBay, even though the items are the same, there is no mention of whether unique bracketing is required specific to a motorcycle. I do know that the mounting kit for the Quest is 92300-06A, but not sure if aditional brackets are required to mount to my RKC
I cant believe Harley is selling the same item for $699 that you can get on eBay for $129!!!

If it’s OK to mount it on the handle bar then just use a RAM mount (either all chrome or black or some combination of the two). On my 05 RG I used the Quest I had and bought the “plastic” parts to mount it to the fairing. On the 07 RG I just mounted it on the handle bars and ran the wiring under the tank. RAM also sells an electronic adapter so you can take the audio out and plug it in to the radio.
I get my RAM and Garmin stuff from www.gpscity.com.
