Default FLSTC Battery question

curious...my flstc (heritage classic) 2006 model had the battery tender cable hanging down by the oil tank, making it really easy for me to hook up the tender in the winter.

I now have the 2009 FLSTC and had a big boar kit installed and some other minor works. I do not remember paying attention whether the bike had that cable or not.

My question is, does the 2009 FLSTC come stock with the tender cable? did the shop that did the engine work, forget to put it back? or is it an aftermarket thing that I need to get? Or am I looking in the wrong place?

thanks

The battery tender hook-up is an accessory. Some dealers install them and some don't. They only cost 7 bucks and take 5 minutes to install if you need one.

Not just wintering the bike. I plug my bike into the battery tender every time I roll it into the garage, year-round. I also soldered an adapter to the end of my GPS power wire, and plug the GPS into it when I'm riding. Very handy indeed.

Yep, must be dealer installed. My '03 didn't come with one, but my '07 has one. Bought em from different dealers.
