I often ride in heavy traffic and the engine does heat up considerably. It seems like the 3rd party vendors may be offering superior products. Any advice or experience here?
I purchased the Milwaukee Twins Dual Cool II oil cooler for my bike, but have not gotten around to installing it yet, I have so many projects that are incomplete.
i got the 10 row Jagg but its not on yet since theres no engine in there either.
did a a bit of research before buyin, and it was my best option as far as i'm concerned
I got the Harley Davidson 10 row oil cooler kit which I believe is made by Jagg. Unfortunately I don't have a temperature gauge to compare before and after temps. If the cooler isn't enough for your set up you may also look into installing a fan triggered by the front brake light circuit.
I've got the verticle mount coolers from Jagg mounted to the left down tubes on both of my Dyna's. I'm quite satisfied with the performance of both. One has the automatic thermostat and the other doesn't. Not a big fan of coolers mounted across the bottom of the frame where debris off the front tire is going. Synthetic oil is a good bet for you also.
I've read all the articles on the Jagg 10 row. I'm convinced it's the best.
rdondes,
Did you compare them to others offered from different manufactures?
