Default Tank difference?

I'm thinking no, but wanted to ask around before I buy.
Does anyone know if there is a difference between a Night Train and a Heritage tank? Dimentionally anyways.
Same or similar year model..

I don't think there is.I have a tank I'm selling right now off my Fatboy. When you turn it over it the tag says FXSTBI.Leads me to believe that most of the softail tanks are interchangeable with the probable exception of the Deuce, allthough I'm not 100% on this.

As long as you are not trying to put a carbed tank on a fuel injected, you will be fine. Deuce is the only Softail that will not inter-change with others. As for years, I know '00 to '04 are the same.

Need to know anything else, let me know....I have bought a few tanks in the last couple months myself.....lol

Thanks for the info.
I'm putting together a paint set for a carbed 06' FLST and wanted to be sure. I was aware that I cant put a carb tank on a F.I., but I'm thinking that there's no issue using a FI tank on my scoot.
