Unrestored 1948 Panhead Value?
#3
Excellent: $20,800
Very Good: $11,775
Good: $7,525
Fair: $5,550
Poor: $3,725
That's some great info but how do we convince the man that it's in poor condition? lol
But seriously, how would you rate a bike like that? I would imagen that it being unrestored it's worth more than a older restored bike. Anyone agree with that logic?

Just guessing I'ed say poor motor won't turn over,Fair motor will turn over but won't run, good will start but not driveable, very good starts and is driveable but need some TLC,excellent starts runs good,is very driveable, just need to be tuned up and dusted off.
Its only worth what someone is willing to give for it,or what the owner wants. You might want to check with a collector like Jay Lino.It would help if we had a little more info on how he found the barn.

As I said, a friend found it. He and his father bought a couple of bikes from the guy this week (1955 BMW's I think). I think my buddy will probably buy the Harley next week.
