Default how to access to battery road king classic 2008

Hey guys,

Must be missing something obvious, but my 2008 flhrc is supposed to have "easy" access to the battery - left it on and need to jump start it - but I can't find where to plug the cables!

Can't locate my user manual either, anyone can may be explain to me where/how to access the battery? Took out the seat and the side panels but nothing that looks to me like red and black cables or something like it.

Thanks!

Should be under the seat, that's where mine is.

Default they say they changed it

they advertise an "improved access to battery" on the 2008 model - I took the seat out and couldn't see anything obvious; it's probably there, but i really feel like i'm missing something...

Default

1. Remove seat. 2. If present, release tongue on HFSM antenna from groove at front of top caddy. Move connector and conduit out of the way. 3. Remove screw to release clamp on top caddy from frame crossmember. 4. Rotate ECM connector conduit so that top caddy is positioned above upper right frame tube. sometimes I just remove the ECM and caddy altogether.
