Default How to clean polished aluminum

My bike has a lot of polished aluminum and it is becoming dull looking. What is the best product, either retail or home remedy, to clean/shine polished aluminum?

Thanks for your suggestion

I used Mother's aluminum polish on mine. Made it shine like chrome, but the down side is getting it out of bolt heads and other crevis'.

Try wax first with some elbow grease. If that doesn't work, aluminum polish.

Works great. Also 2000 grit sand paper, 0000 steel wool (dipped in the mother's polish).

I did my gas cap with never dull too. That works good. I'm told I could get the cap to look even better with more time and effort but I like the result as is.

+1 on 0000 steel wool and mothers. Once you have finished polishing apply a good coat of wax for sealing and protection.
