Very cool - a dream trip for me personaly. Always wanted to experience a rally that is not in my backyard. I was curious how you were planning on breaking up the trip? How many miles a day or what are your destination goals. Where will your first day take ya. Checking out the map it looks like 4 days out? Let us know and have a safe ride. Good idea on the bike choice - don't think such a long ride would be fun with out a shield.

I would bet Jessie James had a support truck/film crew follow him on his trips and hauls his gear for him. Could be way off but I had his coin I would do the same.
