My stock 94 carb does have a float bowl overflow outlet, and the main jet tube has multiple holes(alot more than 2), so maybe it's earlier model that your thinking of charley. I guess the real question is gonna be fitment, I know the engine side is the same size, but I don't know if they maybe changed the intake side bolt alignment. And the other thing would be the throttle cable bracket. Tommorow when I get a chance to dig the carb out I'll see If I can take a few pictures, and flyingsportster you can take a look and compare my 94 carb to yours.

Well, they can be physically interchanged if you swap both together BUT you will wind up with a screwed up high speed A/F ratio. The earlier model jet holder has only 2 air holes in the side of the tube, while the later model has something like a dozen holes. The threads on the main jet are different between the 2 models so a 180 jet from one model won't screw into the jet holder from the other.

I know this from first hand experience. An early model carb with a late model main jet & jet holder will give you a high speed A/F ratio over 20/1 even with a 195 jet.
