I had a pair of Chippewa's. Not sure if they were the model you speak of but they were ankle high lace ups and were the most comfortable pair of boots I've had.

I had Chippewa's many years ago, good boot. But my problem with them is they would mark the floor. Not sure if they have changed the soles since. I have a pair of double H boots that are very comfortable.

I've had about 3yrs some Chippewa 7" boots 27872 that look similiar just not as high. These things are built great and holding upreal well. I got mine from bootbay.com and got wrong size first round and they exchanged no problems. They seemed to have very competive prices and free shipping.

Whilst we have very different styles Sahsa....

This is the boot for Night Train pilots IMO.

The kiltie comes out. They lace to the toe. Loggers. Badass.

Me? I'm buying a pair of these loggers this winter as my current footwear is a pair of Converse High Tops and a Black Skechers work boots....
