Default 94 heritage nostalgia

HI I am new to the forum. I was looking at buying a used 94 harley softail nostalgia. It has 7500 miles on it. Nothing wrong with it. Is $10,000 to much to pay for it? I like the look of it Is it a mistake to buy an older bike like that...Does anyone own one. Is it a smooth ride?
Any comments would help
thanks

Oh man, you KNOW what my answer will be! I love the 94 Nostalgias!!!

$10k???? You kidding? That's half the going price! If there's nothing wrong with it, that is the most amazing deal I've ever heard. I would jump on that deal but with some wise checkups to verify its truly a-okay.

Do you mean the CowGlide? Those are hard to come by. May require some more maintainance and a bike that is 12 years old with that few miles may need some replacement rubber parts, but that may be a great deal. Ride it once and you will know.

Hi There,

I bought a 92 Heritage from the original owner on 2/14/06. I paid $10K and I couldn't be happier? I did a lot of searching, in fact almost bought a 2002 Road King for 17K from a friend, however I rode it and other then the sound I felt like I was driving a Gold Wing. This is my first Harley and I decided to go with a nice used Heritage so I could enjoy the feel of a HOG. I had a few issues early on and had to replace the Stator, and had a blown nead gasket. I also added Steel Braided Lines and a Arlene Ness Big Sucker Air Cleaner. Just replaced the original rear shocks, but the best investment I made was putting a Corbin Dual Toruing Seat. This seat is awesome. OK so having given you all this info., go for it you will not be sorry. Oh yeah mine had 25K miles.

Enjoy!

Kimmy T.
