Default 1200 to a 1340

I hope this isn't a stupid qustion. Can a EVO 1200 be bored to a 1340, or is there a kit for bigger jugs.

Yes, you can go bigger than a 1200 on a sportster. Check out NRHS Performance, I've heard nothing but good things about them.

Yep, but anything bigger than a 1250 kit, you'll need to bore out the cases to accomodate the larger cylinders. Check out xlforums.net There's a number of guys over there that have done larger kits over there.

Just put in the 1250 kit this year - runs great. You can do it in the garage if your comfortable tearing the bike down. If you do, don't forget a tuner like the TTS or go have it dyno'd. I'm sure it was a bigger jump for me than from a stock 1200 would have been though. But, they also have head kits if you're really looking to make her scream.

Zippers, NRHS, etc... can take 'er up to 100 cubic inches if your wallet can handle the sticker shock...

How much to do this??? 100 cubes...Any drama in the long run with motor? Im in Australia so will have to convert the $

88" can run 5 to 7 thousand said and done.
Some builds are sweet as hell and some are loaded with drama.

Damn! I can just about pay off my Sporty with 7K. I just think I'll wait and get a Fat Boy Lo or a Fat Bob when I get my Sporty paid for.
