Wheel bearing sizes
I have found two very nice wheels for my RK but they are off a year later model. Mine are 3/4 " spindle and these are 1". I have been told that the wheel width is the same but what are the chances of replacing the bearings to suit the 3/4" spindle.
Does anyone have the O/D of the bearing so I can check the web for bearings?
Thanks in advance

ID = .75" OD = 2.0472" (52mm) Width = .8268" (21mm)
ID = 1" OD = 2.0472" (52mm) Width = .8268" (21mm)
They are made special for HD you wont find them at your bearing shop or on the web for sale although there is one China Co making them and they have an outlet in LA. You also see them on eBay.
WJB Bearings Inc. www.wjbbearings.com
DH559339 for the .75" and DH559339-1 for the 1"
Yes a 1" Axle (Spindle) requires 1" legs.

That is confusing as I have 3/4" fork legs so a spindle kit will not be a lot of use unless I had fork legs to take the new spindle, which may be another issue as the dampers are a bit different so are the legs different to the 1999 models?

What year is your bike? and what year did the rims come off of?
If your bike is 99 or older and the new rims are obviously from a 2000 or newer then they will not fit. Oh and BTW it's not a 1" id it's metric 25.4mm I believe.
Oops quick edit. They will fit but you will have to bring your front end up to a 2000 spec. 2000-2007 are the same geometry.

Hi Pezz, What about the rear assembly, any extras like drive pulley etc. My bikes a 1999 model, the wheels are 2000. I cannot find any 1999 wheels in alloy show type. I have even asked my wheel builder for stainless rims in 16" and twisted spokes but can only supply alloy rims.
