Default so just how easy is hd credit

SOOOOO? I will admit my credit score is not as good as it was a year ago before this economy took a shiz. but i was just wondering what deals some people have got through Harley F and I.
i have 7k to put down on a new bike. i am torn between a new cross bones or street bob. cross bones is kind of a plan A if i get approved for it and the street bob is a plan b. don’t get me wrong. if they were the same price i would still be Torne as i love them both. but my gut tells me that i would be happier with the cross bones. (any way to quit rambling.)
i am just scared that when i go to finance the remaining balance i will get denied hard. i have the money to make the dubble payments so Harleys high interest rate doesn’t scare me to bad. i was just wondering just how lenient hd credit is. i guess just need to quit being a wus and go see what they say.

With 7K down, they will finance anyone. They are in the business of selling bikes first and will do anything to get a bike sold heading into winter. The rates will be higher.

the local banks were more that happy to loan me money for my RKC and didn't rape me on the rate. check around before you go with HD credit

With 7 large down they'll be HAPPY to get you financed unless your rating is really in the crapper. The rates wont be all that great from HD though. Try another source if you can...with that much down a credit union might cover you at a better rate.

my credit union (navy fed)said they will not do the loan with at least 600 credit. a year ago when i had 690 that would of ben no problem. but now that it is a little under 600 i am hopeing hd will be able to do the deal.

I bet HD will do they deal, but look out for a crazy high rate. If you can only get financing at a very high rate try to make two payments a month to get the balance down much faster and the high rate wont matter a much. good luck!

If you got 7 Gs to put down I think you'll be fine as far as getting the bike. I had a family member who got financed after a bankruptcy and a divorce and he didnt have that kind of money to throw down. I dont know what kind of rate he got though.

I think they have tightned down some because I think they had a rash of repos but I think you will still be ok unless you have a lot of revolving debt like credit cards ect.
