I placed an order for a 2010 Fatboy in early October and was told delivery would be 6-8 weeks. Dealer called me last week and said HD temporarily stopped production of the Softails in order to move existing inventory. Touring models so far are not affected. I was on the fence originally anyway between the Fatboy and RK so I decided to switch my order to a RK. This way I should get the new bike a month sooner and it will already have the windshield, engine guard and hard bags that I would eventually have added to the Fatboy anyway.

I'm not a big guy so I will need to get a seat that gets me a bit lower and also get some risers and/or pullback bars. Anyone put the Heritage bars on their RK and how did they work for you? Any other recommendations for pullback type handle bars and lower seats? I'm aware of the HD reach seat and reach bars, but that's about it at this point. Thanks!
