There are so many better choices out there. Spend some time reading and make a educated desision vs a science project built by the dealer.

i have the 251's which are kissin cousins to the 259's and I like'm. Mike Stegman at Latus in Oregon has a pretty good reputation and recommends them fairly often. I would not be afraid of the 259's with the right compression 10.25+

the builder was aiming at 10:4 comp with flat top pistons,107inch and 259 cams,,,he said that it will pull strong on the bottom end ... IS there a better cam for the baggers and will not be hard on my motor with the stage 3 head work,,,i wanted to keep the compression on the low side for a dependable bagger???

My belief has always been either you trust someone or you don't, so either you trust this guy to build your motor and give you good advice in parts choices or you don't. The 259's will be just fine now there may be others that will chime in giving you many other brands to think about and will bash any thing done by a dealer or any product branded SE. I have mostly SE parts done by an independent shop but have had good luck in the past with mild work done by a dealer and bad luck with an independent also.
