I did a search for apes, just in the Sportster section.

https://www.hdforums.com/forum/searc...archid=3448308

You can find many pics' in there. And you will see more there, than just what gets replied to here.

I have mini's on mine.

And if you do it, change the risers too. They look terrible with the stock risers. It looks like a dis-located elbow or something with those risers. It just makes the front end lines look bad.

Thanks for the info guys....

Ratrod...that's good advice about keeping them narrow because with the skinny front end on the Sportster, wide bars might look goofy....not sure though.

Kahaone....that's for posting that link. I did a search but dont know what the heck I did wrong cause I wasn't finding all that...even thought I've seen thousands of posts on this very topic.

So far, I am thinking I may look into these bars that the MoCo is using on the Street Bob...just not sure if they will be too wide

I may go with the Satin Black and give them a few highlights of chrome since my Sportster is predominantly more chrome than black. I refuse to spend the money to black the whole bike out....

Just found the bars I am going to ask for from santa. Burly is now making narrow glide apes in 14 and 16" black or chrome. I think they are 5.5" at the base. I have the wideglide bars on now but am acquiring parts(thanks MReed) to get rid of the custom riser and go with 14" chrome bars.

Running 14in burly narrow apes on my sportster now and have no complaints. To me most apes look way too wide for sportsters and the Burly narrow apes are perfect.
