Default Radio problems on 2008 Ultra Classic

Should the radio default back to the program that was being used prior to the motor being turned off? When I play a CD and stop to get gas and turn the motor off when I restart the motor the radio goes back to a radio station. My local Harley dealer tells me this is normal but doesnt seem right to me. Seems like the tuner should return to where it was prior to the motor being turned off.

My 09 Ultra goes back to whatever I was playing before I shut the engine off with the key switch.

I had the same problem. What took care of my problem, their was a glitch with the cd player, all I had to do was to eject the cd and the reinstall it. After that, what ever was playing when I shut the bike off, would be in operation when I started it back up. Happens every once in awhile. Hope this helps.

Sometimes dealers are not very helpful. I told my service guy once that my shocks were leaking air on my new 09 and that I never lost air on my 08.
His answer was "some do, some don't". WTF ??? (he no longer works there)
