Default Replacing Plug Wires

Let me start by saying that I don't have the service manual...yet (just ordered it). I am about to replace the Spark Plug wires on my 2005 Ultra and notice that the coil is "tucked" under the tank; my question is...do I have to remove the tank to get to it?

Remove the front bolts and loosen the rear, just lift it up, no need to remove.

Default I am looking into this also

I have not yet done this, but I am looking into if on a 2005 Road King.
From what I have read you can lift the tank enough to get to the coil and to feed the wires under that tank.
To lift the tank you do not need to remove the crossover fuel line.
From what I remember, on the Road King, you remove the front mount and rear mounting bolts and then lift the tank gently until the crossover is up against the frame, block up the tank with a piece of 2 by 4.
You can also lift and block up the rear a bit to help in passing wires under the tank.

I have an 05 Ultra also, and from what I can see with a needle nose pliers you should be able to install the new wires without lifting the tank.

I just installed some SE 10mm on my '10 RGC. My coil is behind the engine so I can't help, but I noticed on the box the wires came in a sticker saying it could effect my warranty. I farted on my seat the othr day. I wonder if that will have any effect on my warranty?

I just installed the SE wires & plugs, thanks for all your help. BTW, my Nightrain scores a point against the Ultra for coil location.
