Default Is there a differnce between an FLHTCU and an FLHTCUI?

What is the difference(s) if any, between an Ultra Classic FLHTCU and FLHTCUI?

The i stands for fuel injection

Injected? Would only apply back when there was a choice.

None. My '01 Ultra was a FLHTCUI and my '07 Ultra was a FLHTCU. Both were fuel injected. At first the 'I' indicated it was fuel injected. I think after they were all fuel injected they dropped the I.

Strictly speaking. Bottom line the "I" means injected. Once they stopped making carb'd models they dropped the I.

No Difference. WHen I purchased my Street Glide through military sales while I was over in Afghanistan, The paperwork said FLHXI. No difference that a standard FLHX.

Nope, but no big deal. 2009's were FLHTCU.

Depends on the year - pre 2oo7 the i says it had fuel injection - i had a choice 0n my 06sg - flhx or flhxi - carb or injection
