What does it take to hook up a tach mounted on drag bars? 07 FXST

if memory serves me right, most are 4 wire units. hot, ground, light, and tach pick-up. you should find the tack pick-up (pink wire) taped back under the dash. steve

i hooked mine up last year. it was a peice of cake. yeah it was either 3 or 4 wires and all you have to do is match up colors. and there are different mounts fo the bars. i made a custom one because i wanted the tach under the bars rather than on top like all of harleys. i'll see if i can find a pic of mine

yes it is. then i painted it black. i like it better than the big ones harley sells that put the tach above the bars
