Depends on how you want to do your install... things such as internal wiring add complexity to the mix. Do your homework about the parts you'll need, and then think about how much time it would take you to do it... then double that.

There is a bunch of help on the forum here if you hit a snag.

Biggest thing to think about if you're not inclined is the tools. Does the B-in-L have a good set of tools?

One thing if you don't go over the mini ape height bars you don't have to lengthen the wires. There is enough excess under the tank to reach.

Its not that hard, I pulled ape install off without a hitch, and I was a rookie. Make sure you do your homework.

If the OP doesn't go over the 'mini-apes height', then is he really installing apes as he inquired about.

The the OP: I'm no mechanic but swapping bars is not hard at all. It does take a little time to do. ~4-6hrs.

Run the wires internally. It'll look like crap if you just zip-tie them to the bars.

I got a site from a post on here that has a kit that they say are already pre wired and set up. I think this may be the way I have to go.
Now I just have to figure out how I am going to get the clamp and risers on my lowrider (idiot lights)

Soldier, I know Hill Country Custom Cycles on eBay sells prewired kits. I think the premium for that is too much. It's not hard pulling the wires yourself...for free.
