Default Front brake is squealing

What I pull up to a stop sign, my front brake will squeal real loud. It only does it at slow speeds. It started this when my bike was only a few months old. It sounds like a city bus pulling up to the stop sign. I took it to the dealer and the guy said that can happen with a hard mount brake. He said "that's a Harley". They did take off the brake pads and put some anti-vibration stuff on them. This helped for a day or two. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

Thanks

Default brakes

two things would make my brakes squeal one was when they got wet the other was break dust which also killed my whitewalls. I installed Lyndall brake pads which took care of the break dust. all was well with the squealing until they got wet then the squeal came back for awhile and goes away when driven and they dry. You may be stuck with it until your ready for new pads some times cleaning them with break clean will help.

there is a third reason the brakes squeal. and i switched to lyndall and they still did what you have. it was a defective front rim that caused the wheel bearing to squeal and wear out very fast. get the dealer to check that. my dealer missed it 2 times but fixed it after me driving 50,000 miles like that

Would you recommend the Lyndall Z-Plus or Gold Plus pads?

we recommend the z plus pads for most applications. If you wanted some we have them in stock for $41 a set. Also there is a good post on lyndall racing brakes website showing how to clean the brake calipers which also can help. Here is the link below.

Lyndall Z+ pads with H-D floating rotors. Make sure you clean the pistons when you switch pads. Use the anti-squeal monkey snot on the back of the pads, and lube your caliper pins. No squeal, no squeak, no dust, just powerful stopping.
