With the recall of ACC helmets I'm looking for a lightweight DOT helmet. Anyone have the HD hybrid helmet?

Yep i have one and the girlfriend has one very light and comfortable . Picked them up for 20% off at the dealer made the price $160 +tax.

Do you have one of these? I have an ACC and like that it does not look like a mushroom head. But with the recall i am thinking of getting another 1/2 helmet and want one that does not cause the mushroom effect.

 

I had an HD hybrid for a minute and it was major mushroom head, and you really caught the wind like a sail. It was light, but I can not reccomend it.

 

I have a Hybrid .... it's okay at best ... kinda big, catches the wind ... I'm still lookin" ... Check the link cheetach posted ... looks pretty small, and the price is right.

cheetach ... do you have one ? How does it compare to the Head Trip 1/2 they just recalled ?
