Default Turn Signal Problem

I have a 2005 Road King Classic. This past Sunday I rode on a memorial escort with my flashers on. When I turned my flashers off the left turn signal indicator and lights (from and rear) stayed illuninated but will not flash. I look in the service manual but could not find anything in the electrical schematic that would indicate what could be causing the probelm. I checked the fuses but I did not check the bulbs. The right turn signal works properly. I guess I should check the bulbs but they are illuminated so I don't think it is a bulb issue. It problem is a simple fix, any suggestions?

Sounds like a turn signal-4 way flasher-controller failure. The module might have failed when you switched off the 4-way flash. This is a simple fix, but the controller will cost money.

usually if a bulb is burnt out when you turn your turn signal on it will blink rapidly, sounds like it could be the flasher fuse

i meant flasher module or relay or what ever you call it where the wires plug into it, if it is burnt out they will stay on, if it is a fuse nothing will happen, if it is a bulb your dash light will blink rapidly
