Default Where to attach kick stand spring?

I made a huge bone head move this evening...decided to go over a curve from a parking lot to the street, heard a pretty loud thud/scrap, didn't have enough clearance. Anyway, after the shock of it all, I looked down and the kick stand was dangling with the spring unattached. Anyone know where the spring attaches to the frame underneath? Hope to God I haven't done anything to the frame. Thanks. Todd

+1, There is. You wouldn't be the first person to have a nub/eyelet welded back on. Any competent welder can do it for you in a couple minutes.

Had a Harley service department look the bike over. They drilled a hole with the 'meat' that was left underneath and attached the spring. Works better than before, kind of just 'goes down' into position, no worrying about it being set. Hats off to American HD in North Tonawanda, NY. Never had anything but great experiences with all HD service departments. Whew, guess I got out of jail. Thanks for the responses folks.

Default Picture?

You didn’t happen to take a picture of the completed repair did you? I just knocked the nub off mine too.
