AMSOIL Severe Gear 75w90 in primary?
#4
Go to any convenience store....pick out the cheapest brand of Type "F" transmission fluid. Put in one quart and be done with it. Repeat every 10K miles. This stuff works great with the clutch plates. Also if you ever develop a leak you'll know if it's coming from the primary because the fluid will be "pink."

I use Amsoil Motorcycle 20W50. You can use Syn3, or ATF fluid. Remember, there aren't any gears in that box, only a chain and sprockets and clutch plates.

Thanks a lot guys. I am gonna pick up a new drain plug seal (gasket) from the dealer on Monday and change the primary fluid. I have a couple of extra bottles of AMSOIL 20-50 in the garage.
