Default Recommended 2-up seat and sissy bar for Iron 883

I'm thinking of putting a 2-up and a sissy bar w/luggage rack on my Iron 883. Any recommendations? Ideally, I'd like something that's compatible with throw-over saddle bags and that fits the lines of the bike.

I'd try to search for this on my own, but I can't come up with search terms that will produce a reasonably-sized set of results. Any and all help appreciated. TIA.

Have you searched HD's website? Lotsa options. Also tons of aftermarket support. I have the HDs pillion pad and a Haulenass sissy bar(soon to be replaced w the HD bobber style tall bar)

That new one from harley is pretty nice. Part number 51146-10. They have it on the Harley website, top of the page click on "Build Your Harley" and you'll find it in there.

Yes TxJiminy, that's the one I'm getting. It should be arriving within the next 2 weeks.

That is a great looking backrest--not a bad price for HD even though you need the hardware kit.
FWIW, I think riding 2-up on an Iron without better shocks and springs would be a really rough ride for long periods. Not saying you can't do it, but it would not feel comfortable w/o some other mods. Take a look at the Mustang Fastback or the Day Tripper 2-up seats, look clean and keep the lines of the bike.

It all depends on rider(s) weight and tolerance of bumpy rides. Me and my lady do fine on my Nightster with stock shocks with the exception of huge bumps or potholes.

51146-10 is nice. I got one, but I think its way too short. I was hoping it would be taller.

Here's a couple pics with my HD sissy bar, backrest and the Danny Gray (DG)shorthop 2up seat. The DG seat caused me some woes to get it to stay put. Good looking quality seat with acceptable comfort. Certainly not as comfy as a sundowner I'm sure, but I wanted looks more than comfort right now.
