Default Circuit Breaker locations

Hi, I have a 78 FLH and I am trying to locate the lighting circuit breaker. I found 2 under the seat, but I'm not sure which is which. I know there are 3 on the bike, according to the manual. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Bubba

For 78 I think there are 4 breakers on a stock 78 FLH...main circuit breaker off battery + side, lighting, ignition and accessory which were mounted on the underside of the dash plate.

Is the wiring original? Post a pic perhaps?

easiest way to see which breaker operates the lights is to disconnect one of the wires and turn on the switch. Lights will not come on with wire disconnected.

Thanks much. I was just poking around and I found the other ones under the dash. I think I found the lights one. Reason I need to check is I think I have a short somewhere. I turned the lights on and than hit the front brake and I lost the headlite and the rear lites. Directionals still work though. Still plugging!

Thanks,

Bubba...
