I FINALLY got my new hard bags put on. I got them painted and let them sit inside the house for 30 days to let the clear coat cure. Then waxed them up and put them on. WOW!!! I love the way they look on the bike. Take a look and see what you think.

Congrats.I did mine not too long ago.Didnt have them painted but actually got the ones on the ultra of the same color scheme.

 

The raised lines are what did it for me also, looks REALLY retro I think. Plus I saw the video these guys made to advertise their bags, they had some guy jumping up and down on one of them and smacking them with a hammer. They also come with felt lining and the inside latching mechanism is on the inside of the bag not the outside. Pretty nice all the way around. Lots of auctions with Buy It Now for $585 on ebay and they come with all the hardware. You have to buy the rubber pieces that fit under the bags and I replaced the rubber grommets that come with the bags with the ones that come with HD bags because they fit better. All the holes lined up perfectly.
