Screamin' Eagle Big Bore Kit question.
Can anyone tell me the difference between these two kits? Is the inclusion of the cam in the Stage II kit the only difference and it that what makes it "PRO"?
Both of these kits are for 01-’06 EFI Softailmodels

vs
Screamin' Eagle Pro Big Bore Stage II Kit for EFI Models - 95 Cubic Inches Part Number 29859-04A

Look at any graph of gains of those crazy kits, and check your riding on the street and see your RPM range, you will realize you are buying something you will never use.
Let me add, If you take some weight off your bike, you gain better HP/weight ratio and on top of it you get to 'stop' a lot better too.
Just sayin.. if you add HP, you need more break power and we ain't got much to start with.

Just my opinion here, BUT........Power is a VERY addictive drug (ask me how I know). If you're thinking about going larger on your 88", talk to an independant shop, like GMR Performance, JD's Cycleworks, Hyperformance, Hillside, TMan Performance, etc. Their kits make WAY more power than the SE kits.....more bang for the buck. They're probably going to all start the conversation with the same questions- What's your riding style? What are you looking to gain (low end power, mid range, top end)? What's your budget. They can give you more options.
