Default Installing 12.5" Apes on FXDB (cable length ?)

I know I can probably search for this info, so sorry to ask, but I an in a hurry to get the info ASAP. I have a 2009 FXDB (Street Bob) and am about to have a set of internally wired Wild 1 Chubby 12.5 apes installed (WO502B = 12.5" Ape Hangers,
12-½"rise, 36-½" wide, 10" center, 12" pullback) and needed to know how long my replacement clutch and brake lines should be (from anyone that has done a similar installation). Part numbers would be a great benefit to me as well, possibly HD lines if anyone has used then (or if they make the required length). Any info would be greatly appreciated.

(I will be relocating the turn signals to the fork legs with the HD part in case that matters)

In all honesty, you shouldn't need to use any longer cables to install those. When I put 16" R6C bars on my street bob, I went +4 and probably could have got away with +2.

I was thinking about the same for my Streetbob so emailed Wild 1s and they told me for 12.5 i would need +4.

I have 12" fatty z bars on my 08FXDB and used stock cables and still have some slack in them to play with. I ride with a guy that has 14" apes on his 07FXDB and he used stock cables they are just barely long enough. i wouldnt recomend doing 14" with stock cables cause his look a little tight for my likings, but up to 13 you should be fine.

Also forgot to mention, on the 16's I internally wired them and did not need to extend the electrical wiring at all.

Not having to replace the cables would be a plus, I have an 09 and the stealer was saying 200-300$ for new cables (?!?!). I guess I will wait for a few more people to chime in to hear additional thoughts.

Thank you for that. I heard that there is alot of electrical wiring slack. Did you relocate the turn sigs as well?

I installed Wide Glide bars (fatter than OEM 07 SB bars) regular 10-1/2" internally wired with 3" risers and only had to bend the brake line a little. Worked great!

Default Integrated Riser problem

I agree with those that say the 12.5 bars should be no problem. I have 2" risers on my SB (stock 10" apes) and there is easily another inch (but not 2") of play. The problem may be the stock risers on the SB if you are putting on oversized bars. You may have to put on a one inch riser (go to Lonerindustries.com) to get clearance and that could make the 12.5" a wee high.

Please clarify why I need risers?. Since 09 Street Bob is one with integrated risers. Will that be an issue and are these risers necessary to not have the bars contact the tree clamp covers? I actually like the look of these riser extensions that you mentioned, and may get them, but will they be absolutely necessary?
