Default sidecar mounting

Hey all, new sidecar owner here. Just took delivery of a Hannigan Classic sidecar that I will be mounting on my wife's 2005 Electraglide.
The directions that came with the sidecar are less than ideal. I have read quite a bit about how to align the sidecar once it is mounted, but what I am lacking is a diagram or pictures of the actual position of the brackets and struts and how the steering damper is set up.
Can anybody with a sidecar, especially a Hannigan on a Harley, post or send me some pics of the mounts? It would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Where in SoCal are you? I might be able to do better than pics. I'm in the IE. Have a Calif Sidecar and if your close I could cruise over.

Bought a used Champion Escort, to mount to an 08 Ultra Classic. When the mounts came in (over $700), I just about lost it, no instruction, nothing, and if you wanted the bolt and nuts well that was extra.....lol. Well after pounding my head against a wall for a couple of day, http://www.sidecar.com helped me through it all, didn't have a clue, just started matching parts to places that looked right, and low and behold after two weekends I was on the road and still haven't taken the hack off to paint it(maybe this winter) not.........lol. Take your time as this forum and the one metion above and you can't go wrong, and welcome I haven't stopped smiling since then..........and heading back to the Dragon on the 25 for the 3 time through there since April, as for the trikes I rode one at a dealer demo days and it didn't have the personality that a sidecar does, and it was too easy to ride, maybe when I hit 90-95 I will do the trike thing until them I am having a blast, and I am able to take persons that wouldn't normally ride a bike or a trike, place them in the hack, hit the first hard right hand turn and watch the wide eye grin grow just like mine does everyday...............

HACK IT

Thanks for the replies. We got the sidecar mounted ok, and alignment is pretty close, but may need some further fine tuning after we put some miles on it.
One issue remains, and that is the steering stablizer mounting. I think Hannigan sent us the wrong bracket, but I will give them a call monday and see what they have to say.

I am trying to mount a 1979 FLHC to a 1979 CLE sidecar.

The FLHC did not come w/sidecar and I need to know about the wiring harness that runs from the cycle to the rig.

Is there a site that can show me all the ropes to mounting the rig & especially the wiring part.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time.

Default Spalding sidecar

I just purchased a Spalding sidecar for my wife's bike. She was diagnosed with MS and she wants to continue to ride her electra glide but her balance is a little off. The issue I'm having is Spalding went out of business about 10 years ago and I need some mounts for it. So I was wanting to see if anyone has any or may know where to get them or maybe some photos of the mounts on the bike so I can locate them.

Your issue will be figuring out the mounts as HD is a bit different . Find HD mount parts is not easy.Yes it can be done.
