Default 2011 Sedona Orange Remorse?

I'm about to pull the trigger on a new Road Glide Custom. I saw the orange RG at Sturgis and was struck! But for some reason I can't decide between Black or Orange. I've never had a black bike either so this is a tough one for me. Are you Orange owners completely satisfied with the color? Here is the bike at the HD display in Sturgis with the inner fairing done and the chopped tour pack. Awsome! But then again, Black is sooooo cool and timeless!

Black is the new.......black. I remember liking some new interesting colors and paint designs on cars in the 80's. A few years went by and those colors made the cars look dated and old.

HD Vivid Black is VERY SOFT...

There ain't none better looking when clean, but black don't stay clean long, and it shows the finest swirls and scratches you can imagine.

Black all the way! If you're already having second thoughts.....you'll be sick of it in a short while. And you know what they say....once you go black.....

I've had Luxury Red, 100-year anniversary Vivid Black and Sliver, Black Pearl, which to me comes across as a Charcoal Grey and now Vivid Black. Personally, I think that Sedona Orange is a very cool color. I can tell that all Vivid Black is impossible to keep clean and no matter what wax or wax/cleaner I use, I have a ton of swirl marks. Looks perfect in the shade; you can see every swirl mark in the sun.

Thinking long-term, I'd take Sedona Orange any day over Vivid Black.

I said long ago that I would NEVER own another black ANYTHING, due to the maintenance hiding swirl marks and scratches.....yet here I am with a black bike. The orange looks insane...but as you said, black is timeless and classy.

Good luck with the decision!
