Just put mine in the shop for this Stage 2 kit. The cam that comes with the kit is 25197-04. Screaming Eagle Pro XL Performance Cam. Best suited for high horsepower and high RPM. Has .551 lift improves horsepower above 4500 RPM.

Anyone out there do this upgrade?

Got it back. Well worth it. No idea of HP or Tqe yet. Low end, hang on tight. High end with those cams is pulling fast and hard.

Sweet. Get it on a dynamometer, let us know what you're getting. Better yet, get it on a strip and let us know you it goes!

I am looking at buying a 2010 883 Iron in Black Denim this weekend, and started researching 1200 conversion kits.

At first the dealer had given me the Stage I kit (29784-07), but then I came across the Stage II kit ( 29836-10).

I guess I am confused as to why Stage I gives you replacement 1200 heads, BUT the Stage II does not????

What are the advantages to the Stage II, it seems the Stage I would be a stronger setup by replacing the 883 heads w/ 1200's???

Is there a difference in hp/tq curves from one to the other??
Any explanation as to which to choose is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
