Default What are the best brake pads?

It's time for me to do the first brake pad job on my '08 Dyna FXD. And my question is which kind of pads are the best for our Dynas and who to get them from?

good question I imagine you will get some good opinions on this
I have always used hd pads, except one time i got some cheap ones, and liked them just fine
If there is a big difference between pads I would try something else next time.
my rear pads are almost due, they are stock and have 44,000 miles

Lyndall are my favorite. Z Plus or gold. I can get them for you too!! I have been running them for the past 4 years. I'll never go back to any other kind of pads.

The Z's have a lotta squeak at times....

Ferrodo's are sposed to be very good if you can find them...

Personally I find the Brembo's to be kick ***.

I don't know who makes their pads, but I would highly recommend them....whoever that is?

Lyndall Gold

Dr. V-twin I need a set for my rear. Usually get them direct from Lyndall but didn't plan it properly.

the upgraded pads. Why are they better? Is it grip, feel, longivity, dust, noise, all of the above.

The thing I like most is the dust. It takes a while to clean the bike and the wheels are tough as it is so a brake pad that lays down less dust is better for me. I find my Lyndall's last as long as my tires (rear lasts me only about 7-10K miles). I use a lot of rear brake as I do a lot of low speed maneuvers.
