Oil additive to improve low compression?
Has anyone found an oil additive that actually helps improve compression in a 10-year old engine?
My buddy's 2001 Ultra has low compression (60-70%) and he was told that some additives will actually improve his compression. Is that just product hype and marketing, or has anyone here actually had success with any of these products?

Well, with all the cheap take off parts available on Ebay , even I have a set of dealer take off cyls and pistons for sale, it should be cheap enough to refresh a top end.,,

My dad used to pour water out of a small coca cola bottle (that was the proper amount for a V-8) and it would clean all the carbon off, seemed to make the rings reset. Did change the oil consumption, whatever it did inside did work.

No disrespect but,I'm not sure that's the best advice if you would like to keep the bottom end of your engine in good working order.
Thicker oil is bad for your engine, some additives will actually make things worse. Just fix it,why not take the oppourtunity to upgrade to a little big bore action?
