Default Installed Terry's Terminal Velocity II

I recieved & installed a Tery's Components Terminal Velocity module on my 05 Deluxe. I have been searching for feed back on this install all over the net. There is very little info out there!. With only 75 mile on it since install my info will be limited but I will up date this as I use it. The installation was not too bad, wires on the module are 22 ga. or smaller, too small in my opinion. I have a Road House pipe system on my Deluxe, to say the least the worst part of this exercise was the re& re of the exhaust to weld in the O2 sensor bung. Once installed & bike reassembled the bike started & ran fine. As I rode the component learns the needs of the bike through the feed back from the O2 sensor & the TPS signal received. It then fires out a modified signal to the ecu on the TPS line. The bike seam to pull better, particularly in the low RPM range. My main issue prior to ordering the Terry's kit was not power it was fuel consumption. I was only getting 35 mpg. Last nights ride was 75 miles & the fuel guage hardly moved, I hope to be getting 42 -48 mpg once it settles in. I will post more later.

Cheers

Very Nice Ride. I hope to hear more about the Terminal Velocity from you. I am going to be adding one to my bike soon. I have searched the web for some feedback on the unit but there is not much out there. Let us know how it pans out on your bike. I am looking to get a unit that will let my bike run at it's full potential without major mods. From what I have read about this unit, it seems to cover that. Keep us posted.

I was getting about 40 or so before the engine mods and now about 35 I believe. I expected to loose mileage when I did the engine. I am running a big bore kit with 257 cams roller rockers and screamin eagle heads. exhaust is cycle shack slip ons and the proper stage air cleaner. No power commander or any thing else and it runs flawlessly no pops or sputters when I crack it fly's. I thought about a power commander but like the old saying leave well enough alone. I pull my plugs and she is burning beautiful not to lean or rich maybe i got lucky but I am a happy camper
