Default Road Glide fairing on a Dyna

Hey all..wondering if anyone has experience with putting a Road Glide fairing on a Dyna... Last year, I saw a Super Glide with one at a swap meet, but I didnt get too nosey as to how it was fixed with the brackets since the owner wasnt around...

I'm sure that I could machine some sort of brackets to mount it to the frame, and it would be cool to make a modern version of the FXRT. This would be a fun winter hibernation project. Any info and feedback would be appreciated

The Road Glide fairing attaches to the frame and crash bars. The neck (frame)extends through the forks. The sides have smaller mounts that bolt around the crash bars.

Are you thinking of the ElectraGlide (batwing) style fairing? That would attach to the forks.

..what the hell was I thinkin, haha, I know better than that...yeah, frame mounted. Lately I've been pining over many options, including aftermarket batwing fairings that are made for a Dyna, but the concept of the Road Glide frame is of greater interest.

Obviously some custom brackets will have to be made to fix the fairing to the frame, would like to hear about and see photos of other members' experiences with that..

If harley were to re-introduce the FXRT with the 103" motor I believe they would sell a bunch of them.
