Default Service on a 2000 XL 1200 Sportster

I am going to be servicing a 2000 1200 Sportster and i was wondering what oil was used in 2000 for that motorcycle. Is there any tricks or things i need to know. It is my brother-in-law bike and just trying to help him out with a simple service. It runs great and he doesn't think it needs anything else.

Use HD360 20w50 or Syn3 20w50 in the engine and

Formula+ or Syn3 20w50 in the trans/primary (shared sump)

use the Harley filter speced for the bike. I ran the Syn3 30w50 in both sumps on my 883 and it ran fine.
