Default Touring 103 CAMS

OK What is your favorite cam for a Touring bike with a 103. I want to know what you all think. I dont want to hear go 107, go 131. I want to know if you only had a 103 in your Scoot what cam would you desire and why ..............

TMan 525 or Andrews 54, maybe the 32 for solo touring and Andrews 26 or 48 or Woods 5-6 for two up and loaded touring; you could throw the SE255 into the last batch as well.

Why, because the are good cams for the application; all low and midrange peformers.

I am sure someone will throw the new Woods 555 into the mix but I don't know anything about it.

204 cams in my stroker 103...

Been very happy with lots of low/mid torque. Dyno numbers were 96hp/105Tq.

Default cam

se255- a real gain from idle on up, no loss of roll on torque. We have a FLHTK with a 103, added the cams, tuner and aircleaner. Stock mufflers. Very nice increase and we can here the radio!

I just ordered the Woods tw555 this morning from Fuel-Moto USA. Click on the FuelMoto link on the right side of this page, they have all the dyno charts you need to see. The cams are actually made by Andrews, to Woods specs. Here is a good dyno comparison between the TW-555 and the SE-255. All I needed to see...

Read the thread posted above and check out the torque curve. I bet that bike is a blast to ride. When I upgrade my bike I will be going with a SE204.

Wood 6-6 is a great touring cam with nice power across the board - solid flat torque curve.

i've got the hd 259-E cams in my 08 streetglide and the cams perform great throughout the rpm range, from off idle to redline. they have .579" lift, and work really nice.
