I have an 87 Sportster I'm building an XR750 replica out of. I had to replace the frame with a 1999 model. The '99 has a great wiring harness on it, but it has different plugs etc. I'd like to re-use this harness for the bare minimum that my 1987 needs, headlight, tailight, ignition. That's about it. I have the 1987 Harley manual with the wiring diagram, but I hate to spend another $60 to get a diagram for the 1999 so I can compare them and use what I need, strip the rest. Anyone have a 1999 wiring diagram they can share with me? Thanks.
