Default 883 Superlow Heel toe Shifter

I was told that since it was a mid level control there is no heel toe shifter for this unit? Or is it that Harley doesn't make it? TIA

You can't have a H/T shifter without floorboards, and they don't make floorboards for sportsters or dynas.

At least that's how it was explained to me.

Anything is possible to fabricate, with talent and money.

But no, heal n toe shifters are designed to work with floorboards and there are none available for the Sporty.

Search: Custom made toe/ heel shifter for Sportster on this site and you will get a lot of treads. There was someone that actually made one without the need for floorboards!

Heel/toe shifters only work with floorboards? First I ever heard of that. a friend of mine has a heel/toe shifter on his 883/1200 custom and it ain't got any floorboards. Granted, I've never seen a heel/toe shifter on mid controls but anything is possable.

IMO...heel shifter is a waste of metal & rubber. Just gets in the way - mine's coming off as soon as I get the spacer.

I think a heel toe shifter without floorboards would be a little bit dangerous.

Depends on how they are made/designed.
