Default Installation of HD 4-point Docking Kit?

I'm about to install a Harley 4-point Detachable Docking Hardware Kit on my Road Glide Custom. I see that I need some Loctite 262 threadlocker and sealant, but was wanting to know if anyone else has installed this kit already?

I'm just wanting to know if there were any problems that you ran into. I'm also hoping I can do this without having to remove the saddle bags.

Default I just installed yesterday!

I just installed this kit yesterday, was a breeze! I used the permanent red stuff, it was either that or blue and i didn't want it coming off, nor do i have plans of taking it off in the future. Take the bags off and i think it was a size 27 and 40 torx bits and some red threadlocker should be all you need.

Thanks. I'm gonna go a pick up some loctite 262 today and start on it. Not looking forward to removing the saddle bags, but the old lady wants the bike ready to go for her when backrest rest pad arrives.

Why so stressed about removing the bags?
It takes seconds.

Bags are quick disconnect. Half turn of 2 thumbscrews and they're off! EZ

Popping bags off my SG was the easy part. Just make sure and set them someplace safe while you work. Realy it is a half turn of two thumb screws, easy off and easy on.

Maybe you'd better have the dealer do it then. They're pretty tough to take off.
