does anyone have black ceramic pipes ? how are they to keep clean . i'm on dirt roads alot and i'm not the best at cleaning . do they chip easily . do they scratch easily . i love the look but if they're gonna show the dust and dirt after every trip i'll stick with chrome .

I can't answer for ceramic, I've had my pipe powder coated gloss black. Not horrible and extremely durable. My Fatcat was chrome and I prefer the black.

I have them, but dont usually ride on dirt roads, but have ridden through rain for a couple days straight then thru the 110 desert on a trip without washing the bike for a month and I used s100 or simple green or even car wash soap and they still look as good as new.

I have a ceramic Fullsac headpipe and black heatshields, no problem with either. I did scratch the headpipe a little bit installing the heatshield clamps, but you never see it once the heatshields are on. And like already mentioned, cleanup is great. I love not worrying about water spots after a wash anymore.

I don't road on dirt roads...but they are very easy to clean. To be honest I never really give too much cleaning and they always look great. I have had them on for about 2 years and they still look great.
