Default Crossbones - AIR RIDE SUSPENSION

I am trying to find the right solution to lower my xbones. I am debating whether to go with a standard lowering kit... or air ride suspension. I know there are pros and cons to the air ride..... but if it can be done right.... I think it would add a lot to the bike, while still having the flexibility to control when and where you go low.... Any advice, reccomendations, photos etc. would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks!!!

The only con to my Shotgun Shock was price. Weasels wanted paid for the fantastic product.

Easy install. One air line that isn't under pressure unless adjusting the system either parked or on the fly.

Drew from DR. V-TWIN can save you some money on a system.

I'm seriously considering a Shotgun Air Ride when the time comes. I've been looking all over and it seems the best of both worlds. And from what many have said, it improves ride quality dramatically.

Dude there is only one way to go. Shotgun shock!
I ran lowering bolts slammed to the fender. I was uncomftorable, the ol lady was hating life back there. Overall experience with lowering bolts makes me appreciate air ride even more. The safety of lowering bolts can be questionable. I just about hit the ditch with a passenger on a long turn, I hit an unexpected bump in the road and my bike hopped towards the ditch. Shotgun air ride makes my bike handle better, passengers are comftorable and the argument can be made that better handling makes a safer ride. To me there was only one choice. Soon as I had the cash I pulled the trigger. Shotgun shock remains the best mod I have done to date.

Thanks for the feedback! Seems like a no brainer! Can you let me know a rough estimate of total cost..... installed and out the door on a HD crossbones?

Thanks again.....
