Motorvation sidecar for sale - Ohio
For sale - one custom Motorvation Spyder sidecar.
Due to some physical issues, last April I posted a classified ad to sell my '08 Cross Bones and Motorvation sidecar.

Obviously it didn't sell. Maybe it was the economy, maybe the timing was wrong. But it was kind of a blessing in disguise. I took the sidecar off and discovered that I still really enjoy riding the bike itself, and can actually tolerate it for short to medium distances. Unfortunately, my elbows still won't tolerate the sidecar. Rather than leave it sitting unused, I've decided to sell it.
The sidecar is in excellent condition. It is equipped with a brooklands windscreen, a 2nd removable tall windshield, a dog platform, dog tether, separate sidecar brake, laced wheel, tonneau cover, and driving light. Since I ordered it for the Cross Bones it is equipped with mounts for a Twin Cam Softail, though mounts are available from Motorvation for just about any other bike you could imagine. Equipped like this it retails for about $7000.00. Asking $4700.00, or will consider trade for a 2004 or later (rubber mounted engine) 883R, 1200R, or other Sportster with mid controls.
Here are a couple of photos of the sidecar mounted to the bike. It still looks exactly like this, but is detached from the bike and stored in a garage:

You are in the same boat as me. I'd love it for my 05 Springer Classic. Maybe if he still has it after the Hoka Hey in August I'll start working on the OL about getting it. I've been talking to her about one for a couple years now but with the Challenge coming up there is no way right now.

We had a ( gulp ) Goldwing with a Hannigan hack last year and it was a blast. Did a 13 state, 3,500 mile trip with it the week we got it. Someone made me an offer I couldn't refuse and it was gone !!! I've always liked the Motorvation hack listed here, as well as the Liberty hack. To me they just look ol' school, like the original Harley hack that they should have kept the design of, as the newer body style never did it for me. Matter of fact, I bought 1 and never even hooked it to my Ultra, just sold it.
Sorry about jackin' the thread here, but it does keep it at the top !!!
