Default Best cams for 95" SE engine?

I have recently installed my fatcat 2-1 and had the bike tuned ( direct Link) and my results were 95TQ and 85HP. What I am hoping to find out from some members is what gave you the best results cam wise on a SE 95 engine. My CVO Deuce came from the factory with the 203 cam ( stage 2) but I want to get the TQ moved to the left a bit and up over the 105 mark. Has anyone had success with a cam that responded like this? I do realize that head work may be the best choice with a new cam so if this is what it took let me know. Thanks in advance for the replies. ride safe

I port polished my heads, Andrews 37G cam, SE 95Kit, tuner, SE II slip ons.......HP 100 TQ 106.

I started with an 88". Thought I would tell you the entire story instead of just Cam so you would know how I got there.

I was going to say the 37 as well. I have the exact same setup as you and the exact same numbers with the 203"'s and a 95" kit. Are your heads stock? If so , get them done and you will get even more power. My bike has too many miles (60K) to be messing with the heads now.

@ Dr V Twin, yes the heads are stock, and only have 15,000 miles on the bike. the Fat cat is awesome BTW as well as the Lepera seat! Thanks for the great service too!. Have you heard of numbers with head work and the 37G cam? on the 95 SE Kit....

I'd think you would gain about 10 hp and tq with heads or headwork and the 37. There is a great site with tons of dyno sheets for varying builds but i can't remember what it is right now.

I picked up a set of Ported/polished heads with larger 1.90 Intake and 1.63 exhaust, 95 inch jugs with 10.25-1 pistons and used Fueling Reaper 574 cams.

Had the motor done over the winter and need to get it up to the shop for a Dyno run/tune.

37's move tq to the right. 21's to the left, 26's to the left of 37's. Headwork, increasing compression, can increase tq. But, too much compression and it will ping. Especially at lower rpm's, to the left. I'd look into 204's, possibly with a 4 degree advance key. Getting 105 tq in a 95" is setting high expectation without spending lots of $$$. Your 95 tq with stock cams and 95" kit is very good. That is close to what cammed bikes with 95" kits get. So, maybe with your dyno guy it is possible. In other words, not all dyno numbers are created equal.
