BCM= Body Control Module
HD LAN = Harley Davidson LAN ( comunication system in the wiring, I think )

The softails went to CAN-based module communication in 2011 (the HD-LAN...). I wouldn't be surprised if the touring bikes got it this year, but I haven't heard anything one way or another.
